Popis: Immune complex injury is the primary nephritogenic mechanism responsible for most cases of acute glomerulonephritis. This article describes the characteristic features of well-established examples of immune complex–mediated glomerular injury. Discussed are epidemiology, streptococcal infection, laboratory findings, prevention and treatment, and course and prognosis of acute glomerulonephritis.
