Popis:	Blunt trauma to the hand often results in swelling, pain and induration, with negative roentgenograms. Myositis ossificans of the metacarpals may be an infrequent sequelae of this type of injury. Consideration of the possible diagnosis and management of this entity by nonsurgical techniques is stressed.
