| Popis: | Though hydatid disease is quite common in Saudi Arabia, splenic echinococcal cysts are rare. Our experience with the diagnostic problems encountered in three patients seen during a three-year period is presented. The helpful role of ultrasonography and computerized tomography in the preoperative evaluation of this disease also is demonstrated. |
