Description: This data repository contains following files 1. basin_X_YY_HVI_runs: The outputs of sensitivity runs for Half Volume initialization. Here, X is basin number and YY is basin name code (e.g. SU for Sutlej). 2. basin_X_YY_NI_runs: The outputs of sensitivity runs for Normal Volume initialization. Here, X is basin number and YY is basin name code (e.g. SU for Sutlej). 3. Testing Runs: The results of the model for the testing period of the model. 4. GCM forcing: The forcing files for the GCM runs. 5. Testing Runs: Contains forcing and results of testing runs. Basin Descriptions: Basin_number Basin_name Basin_Code 1 Sutlej SU 3 Thulo Bheri TB 4 Kali Gandaki KG 5 Dudh Kosi DK 6 Arun AR Other Instructions: 1. The sensitivity runs contains "results_PiTj" folders where i and j shows sensitivity run for particular change in precipitation and temperature. i is i'th element in percent precipitation change list [-20%, -15%, -10%, -5%, 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%] and j is j'th element of temperature change list [-2°C, -1.5°C, -1°C, -0.5°C, 0.0°C, 0.5°C, 1°C, 2°C, 3°C and 4°C]. For example, results_P4T8 shows results for 5% decrease in precipitation and 2 °C rise in temperature. 2. The contents of folders in vic folder are explained below: 2.1 standard: outputs from non glaciated regions of grid 2.2 glacier: outputs from combined VIC-glacier model 2.3 snow: 6th and 7th columns of flux files updated with snow-runoff and snow-baseflow. 2.4 debris: 6th column of flux files updated with melt from debris covered glaciers. 2.5 clean: 6th column of flux files updated with melt from debris covered glaciers. 2.6 base (only in testing runs): 6th column updated to zeroes and 7th column contains total baseflow. 2.7 base_s (only in testing runs): 6th column updated to zeroes and 7th column contains snow-baseflow.   |
