Popis: As a matter of principle, the Association for the Advancement of Civil Liberties (AACL) unequivocally condemns violence committed against women irrespective of their racial backgrounds, their sexual orientations, their religious affiliations, their national origins, their disability status and/or their age groups. The Association for the Advancement of Civil Liberties (AACL) had (beginning September 2020) inquired about the remains of then “missing” Alexis Tiara Murphy. The remains of Alexis Tiara Murphy were recovered 5 months following the inquiry of the AACL. The remains of Alexis Tiara Murphy were recovered in February 2021. The AACL is shocked by the fact that it took more than 7 years for the Nelson County Sheriff Department in Virginia to recover the remains of Alexis Tiara Murphy, who had "disappeared"on August 03rd2013. The AACL would like to remind the public that it took less than 90 days for the remains of Gabby Petito to be discovered after she had been declared “missing” on or around September 11th2021. The remains of Brian Laundrie were also found in less than 90 days after he was reported “missing.” Be well. Stay well. Take care. Keep yourselves at arms distance. Michael A.
