Popis: | Although the introduction of green mortgages in Mexico has allowed the allocation of 350 thousand energy-efficient dwellings per year, their location within a city has not been properly taken into account. Developers have adopted agile manufacturing processes for housing, commonly built in isolated neighborhoods, distant from employment and services, where land is inexpensive. In this paper, we assess the housing manufacturing processes in Mexico and identify improvement opportunities in the lifecycle housing performance. An agile method for housing location assessment is presented, which will provide key data to identify specific locations within a city that minimize household expenditure. |
