Popis:	Micro-SEED is the first complete database management system for microcomputers. This paper reviews the development of Micro-SEED and then describes two applications that have been developed to use Micro-SEED: general ledger and bill-of-material processors. A final section evaluates the performance of Micro-SEED in terms of the transaction rate of general ledger applications that can be supported and calculates the cost per transaction.
