Popis: | Isolated thymic enlargement, or associated with pleural effusions, may be seen in leukemia. The pleural effusions occur without any evidence of pulmonary parenchymal disease.Although the exact frequency has not been established, available evidence indicates that this finding is more common in childhood leukemia, particularly in acute lymphatic leukemia. This roentgenographic complex may, in fact, be the initial clinical finding. |
