Popis: In this study, Fine Y and Fe co-doped SrTiO3 powers were synthesized via solid state reaction and pechini method. Perovskite-based anodes were proposed to enhance the anode performance. Doping with Y for Sr allows the Y0.08Sr0.92FexTi1-xO3-δ perovskite to be stable at 800°C in a reducing atmosphere. Sintering the oxde anode at 1200°C is found to be optimum to obtain not only good interfacial adhesion, but also a fine grain structure. The Y0.08Sr0.92Fe0.25Ti0.75O3-δ anode, which is sintered at 1200°C, showed the lowest polarization resistance. Electrochemical properties and catalytic activity for CH4 oxidation of the composite anode were investigated by gas chromatography and ac-impedance spectroscopy.
