Popis: Department of Chemical Engineering, Taiyuan University of Technology, Taiyuan, Shanxi 030024, China Manuscript received 19 November 1999, accepted 22 December 2000 Asphalt antistrip agents have been prepared by condensation of formaldehyde with tetraethylenepentamine(TEPA), tricthylenetetramine (TETA), diethylenetriamine (DETA) and ethylenediamine (EDA), respectively. Main technical parameters are optimized by orthogonal test. The study shows that synthesis in the absence of no solvents has the advantages of high yields. The additives prepared from TEPA and TETA have better antistrip properties than the ones from DETA and EDA.
