Popis:	A 48-year-old woman developed anaemia with evidence of both iron and vitamin B12 deficiencies. These deficits were corrected following treatment with ferrous sulfate and ascorbic acid. Subsequently, she was found to have latent pernicious anaemia. It is suggested that iron deficiency may play a role in the development of vitamin B12 deficiency in certain patients with latent pernicious anaemia.
