Popis: A case of a patient who suffered an injury to a bull horn in the cervical region is presented. The bull's horn fractured the right transverse process of the 4th cervical vertebra. We have not found in the literature any case of open vertebral fracture caused by a bull horn. The treatment was as mandatory in the bull horn wounds by mean the detailed examination of the wound, cleaning and placement of drains. During the operation, performed immediately after the injury, a perfect approach similar to that performed surgery for cervical spine surgery was founded. Further exploration by CT-Scan and MRI showed a lesion of the right transverse process of C4, without involvement of the vertebral artery. This case aware of the possible variations of injuries and complications of the wounds inflicted by a bull horn, stressing the need for these injuries are treated by specially trained personnel.
