Popis: | Objective: Evaluate the effect of Gonstead Technique over the biomechanics of long-distance runners from theUNEVE Student Clinic, who has a pelvic deficiency or tilt. Design: Longitudinal, prospective, self-controlled, andexperimental. Methods: A group of 21 long distance runners were diagnosed with pelvic deficiency using Gonstead Technique (5:2 rule) radiograph line drawing analysis. Manipulation of the spine, pelvic area, and lowerextremities were made twice per week for 2 months. At the end of the treatment changes were determined usingradiograph line drawing analysis. Results: Significant statistical changes (PConclusions: After thetreatment with Gonstead’s Technique we observed significant changes on radiograph line drawing analysis for pelvictilt or deficiency and biomechanics alterations on college long distance runners. {"references":["Eriksen K, Rochester RP.
