Popis: | An analytical solution to model dynamic adsorption of multicomponent mixtures in packed beds is presented. The analytical solution describes transient concentration profiles together with gas and solid phase temperature profiles during adsorption and desorption processes. The breakthrough curves predicted by the analytical solution are in satisfactory agreement with numerical simulations and experimental data reported in the literature. (C) 2018 Elsevier Ltd.
