Popis: Research has consistently reported gender differences in mental health, but studies on differences in psychological wellbeing between women and men have not yielded conclusive results. The aim of this study was to examine the relevance of gender to the psychological well-being of adult individuals. For the present study Data has been collected from 115 students out of which 74 were male & 41 were female. Both the variable gender and family structure had no effect on psychological wellbeing among students. Well being is a concept that encompasses a well rounded, balanced and comprehensive experience of life. It includes health in social, physical, mental, emotional, career and spiritual domains. Well being is a positive outcome that is meaningful for people and for many sectors of society, because it tells us that people perceive that their lives are going well. Better living conditions are fundamental to well being. Psychological well being is a concept in psychology that relates with health. Our health is good, we can behave well and on the other hand our life become so easy. Psychological well being is important with respect to how we function and adapt and with respect to whether our lives are satisfying and productive. Psychological well being is a state of mind desirable for one and all.
