Popis: | This paper discusses our introducing a multi-team development project into the third semester of an undergraduate Computer Science core curriculum. One of the goals of the third semester course has been to provide student with practical experience in system design and development. The multi-team development project exposes students to the rigors of working together to complete a specific component of a larger system and to insure that all components integrate properly. It also introduces them to project management concepts such as project scheduling, maintaining team journals, delivering written and oral team status reports, and participating in project meetings. |
