The circuit proposed diifers from those developed earlier in allowing operation both with low impedance and high impedance probes, and also in its high sensitivity and stability. A resistance thermometer is used as the temperature probe. A copper thermometer (003 mm thick wire of resistance 675 Q. at 273°K) is used in the temperature range from 20 to 300°K.
