Popis: EdgeVPN.io (Evio for short) is an open-source (OSS) software defined network (SDN) scalable VPN for edge/fog computing. Evio has built-in support for packet capture, encryption, tunneling, forwarding, and NAT traversal. Key characteristics of the design and implementation are: 1) Scalable and self-configuring: no central VPN traffic bottlenecks, and the network scales and configures itself as nodes are added/removed; 2) Run existing software: Evio exposes virtual Ethernet network interfaces and private IP addresses supporting existing and future Ethernet/IP based software; 3) Deploy anywhere: Evio transparently connects edge devices with private addresses behind Network Address Translators (NATs) and firewalls, as well as cloud resources; and 4) Built on standards and OSS: STUN, TURN, XMPP, WebRTC, OpenFlow, Open vSwitch
