Popis: | This research has been supported by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) under grant No. MAG-315M483. This product has two patents under Turkish Patent Institute with No. TR 2015 04164 B and TR 2013 13062 B. The paper presents the electromagnetic analysis of an axial flux permanent magnet generator. The numerical scheme contains the finite element method under the package of Ansys Maxwell 3D. The design has two rotors with a sandwiched stator, having 24 windings. The core structure is new with radial and axial flux orientations. The design has been analyzed within a 2 mm air gap in a three phase operation configuration for the aim of small power scale wind energy. The rated power of 3 kW has been obtained under the air gap magnetic flux of 1.1 T. TUBITAK |
