| Popis: | Taphropiestes magna Ślipiński & Tomaszewska, 2010 Fig. 1 (distribution) Diagnosis. Dorsal surface of head with two deep, oval pits, connected by arcuate groove; genal projections long, prominent; temples strongly reduced; pronotum widest near one third of basal length, its maximum width broader than elytral width at shoulders; body dull, pronotum and elytra without depressions; terminal antennomere at most 1.1 times longer than wide.
