However,a scanty work on its leaf constituents promptedus to investigate the leaves thoroughly. The presentpaper deals with the isolation and characterisationof myricetin, agathisflavone, robustaflavone, amentoflavone,quercetin, kaempferol, apigenin and twoglycoside, viz. quercetin-3-0-rhamnoside and quercetin-3-0-glucoside. The structure of the compoundswere confirmed by their spectral data and by comparisonwith authentic samples |
