My poster from the Evolution Meeting 2017 in Portland, OR, USA. I produced a time calibrated phylogeny to date the transition of a clade of terrestrial land snails (the superfamily Cyclophoroidea) from marine to terrestrial habitats. We found that the age of this clade falls around the late Paleozoic or early Mesozoic, identifying them as one of the earliest diverging terrestrial land snail lineages, and certainly the oldest among the extant Caenogastropods. |
