The news this issue consists entirely of Dick Puk's report on the ISO/IEC JTCI/SC24/WG4 computer graphics language bindings meeting held in Tokyo, Japan. April 12--20. 1988. We were hoping that we would be able to report on the X3H3 meeting, but, unfortunately, deadlines for this issue would not provide us with sufficient time to get that report in. We'll have that news in the next issue. This material is excerpted from a longer report prepared for SIGAda which funded Puk's attendance at this meeting. |
