Popis: Introduction: Family planning is a proven and cost-effective health intervention. Use of contraception has been reported to be low in developing countries. Aim: To determine the trend of acceptance of contraception and the preferred methods of modern contraception in the new fertility research unit of Usmanu Danfodiyo university teaching hospital Sokoto, Nigeria. Materials and Methods: This was a 10-year retrospective study involving all acceptors of modern contraceptive methods from the January 2008 to the December 2017.
