В статье представлены материалы библиометрического анализа публикационной активности и цитируемости современных педагогов и психологов, основанные на данных Российского индекса научного цитирования (РИНЦ). The materials presented in the article do not only reflect the scientific contri-bution of the leading specialists but also show methodological and paradigmatic tendencies of development of the Russian science on the whole. Specifically, it has been found that the scholarly rating scores of the psychologists, as a rule, are higher than those of the pedagogues. It is also interesting that the high publishing activity and citation are typical of the scholars working in the sphere of special psychology and pedagogy. Science-metrical ratings may be calculated not only for concrete scholars but for research teams or scientific institutions as well. Thus, the materials under consideration show that the absolute majority of the specialists with a high h-index work at academic institutes and leading metropolitan universities (Insti-tute of Psychology of the Russian Acad-emy of Sciences, Russian Academy of Education.
