Chitosan as heterogeneous catalyst in Michael additions: The reaction of cinnamonitriles with active methyls, active methylenes and phenols

| Popis: | T reaction of active methylenes (cyclic and acyclic), phenols, 2-thiazolylacetonitrile and alkyl pyridazinyl carbonitriles with benzylidine malononitrile in ethanolic chitosan afforded amino pyrancarbonitriles 2, benzopyrancarbonitriles 3, thiazolopyridine 4, and benzopyridazines 5 respectively, in yields comparable to those obtained in ethanolic piperidine [1-3]. Much lower yields were obtained in aqueous solutions. |
