Popis:	During the past decade, the safety, reliability and effectiveness of the automatic implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (AICD) have been clearly demonstrated. AICD is now considered to be the standard of effectiveness in the treatment of malignant arrhythmias. Therefore, the new, «improved» models of implantable defibrillators must demonstrate that they are better than or at least equal to the AICD
