Popis:	The elaborate control of biogenesis and turnover is essential for circular RNAs (circRNAs) to exert their functions properly in eukaryotic cells, whereas how circRNAs are degraded remains unclear. A recent study by Fischer et al. reveals a novel structure-mediated circRNA decay that selectively degrades highly structured RNAs by UPF1 and G3BP1.
