Recent researches have indicated that the co-operative model of teaching leads in better learning results. Nevertheless, the educatorsespecially these of the early childhood education- appear to have difficulties in its application. This research presents the views of 130 early childhood education teachers of Magnesia Prefecture regarding the co-operative model of teaching and learning. The results indicate that even though the preschool teachers face positively this approach they hesitate to adopt it because they feel insufficient. This research suggests the adoption of non-traditional forms of further education during the initial and constant teaching of the educators to achieve, in an active way, the conquest of modern teaching approaches by the educators.
