Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the various project stages and project sequences in a diagrammatic and tabular format. The chapter shows the normal sequence of controls of a project from business case to close-out; gives a diagrammatic version of the control techniques for the different project stages; hierarchical version of the project sequence; a detailed tabular breakdown of the sequence for a project control system, and again from business case to project close-out. Projects vary enormously in scope, size and complexity. Thus, the sequences and techniques given may therefore have to be changed to suit any particular project. |
