| Popis: | Lida Plaij’s main directions of art and literature and public activities are researched in the context of Ukrainain Canadian connections in culture area. Additions made to the biographical information of the prominent Ukraianian, clarifies some facts about her life in order to further monographic research of her biography and socio-cultural phenomena of Ukrainian intelligentsia in Canada with its influence on Ukrainian-Canadian cultural connections. Research of art and culture and public activities and biographical materials was conducted in the context of studying perosnla archives of Lida Palij. documents from Ukrainian Canadian Research and Documentation Centre and foreign Ukrainica. Higlighted Lida’s contributions into the development of Ukrainain Canadian ties in the area of culture, defined its directions, forms and methods. Given analysis of the wayd of cooperation between Ukrainain intelligentsia, found the influence of prominent personalities on the creative cooperation between wrirtes of Canada and Ukraine |
