Popis: | In this article, we present a novel contactless method for the state parameter surveillance of flame reactors that are used in the production of nanoparticle powders. By means of a highly stable and broadband millimeter-wave radar system and a precise signal phase processing, the change in three different state parameters, i.e., pressure, vapor content, and nanoparticle density, is monitored. Besides fundamentals regarding the signal processing, the influences of the state parameters on the radar signal are considered theoretically and investigated with measurement results that are presented and discussed in detail. |
