Relevance of the topic and scientific problem. In the course of ongoing processes of globalisation, resulting in the strengthening of international cooperation, on the basis of which long-term ideological tendencies in the direction of sustainable development are being formed in the context of economic development, the direction of economic activity based on principles of sustainability becomes an integral part of the development of these ideological long-term tendencies, and economic activity based on principles of sustainability is becoming a long-term basis for competitive advantage. Thus, considering global international tendencies in economic activity and aspects of the institutional activity of their expression, which is based on political and legal decisions, we can propose that aspects of the implementation of principles of sustainable activity play an increasingly important role in the national context of economic activity. An important role is also played by the perception of the activities of influencing institutional factors, and the management of their structure, as this would allow timely decisions to be taken to ensure the development of a country’s economic activity is based on principles of sustainability. This development would meet international expectations for the development of economic activity, and contribute directly to the economic efficiency and stability of the country. For this purpose, both aspects of the interaction of the structure of global institutional factors that shape long-term trends in sustainable economic activity, as well as aspects of the context of the interaction of institutional factors influencing the implementation of the principles of this ideology at the national level, have been distinguished and revealed. Methods: comparative analysis, systematisation and synthesis of scientific literature and publications, and the study, summary and evaluation of legal documents. Research results: the direction of the interaction between institutional factors influencing development tendencies of the principles of sustainability is based on globally widespread international values of economic development. The global activity of institutional factors directly influences the nature of the activities of institutions at a national level, on the basis of which the necessary elements of values are transferred to the national level of economic activity. However, in order to ensure the effective development of the implementation of these values at a national level, a coordinated, well-functioning institutional set of activities, legislative, executive and judicial, is needed. This institutional set of activities can develop a stable institutional environment that would allow the effective implementation of the elements of these values at the national level of economic activity. The influence of the interaction between institutional factors on the implementation of the principles of sustainability of development processes at the level of economic activity is obvious. Institutional factors form an important part of sustainable economic development: the activities of these factors directly affect the efficiency of the processes of the implementation of the principles of sustainability. By means of institutional activities, a favourable environment is established for the development of the ideology of sustainable development, and the efficiency of the development of these processes depends on the interaction between institutional factors. The functioning of institutional factors should constantly be analysed, and solutions should be sought to adapt to the current socio-cultural and political environment. This would allow the exploitation of the potential of the interaction between institutional factors and economic activity, which would help to ensure the development processes of the implementation of principles of sustainability at the national level of economic activity. Based on the national legal institutional direction, we can state that the implementation of the processes of development of the principles of sustainability at the level of economic activity and the links between institutional activities are obvious. The Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania reinforces the balance of constitutional values, and in this context emphasises the main provisions of the principles of sustainable development. The current approach is relevant to the development processes of this ideology at the level of economic activity. As the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania, summarising the practice, forms the practical direction of judicial activity of this nature for all administrative courts, the administrative courts, in turn, directly influence the activities of formal institutional entities, and specific decisions in their areas of competence, when making decisions. |
