Popis:	Foodborne pathogens have been implicated in illnesses worldwide. Here, we report the complete closed genome sequences of 28 bacterial strains belonging to 18 different species. These genomes belong to known foodborne pathogens. The genomes were closed by a combination of long-read and short-read sequencing.
