Popis: A co-gel of silica and Pd- and Co-containing cyanogel coordination polymer transforms into a silica composite material with embedded Pd/Co alloy nanoparticles upon heating at 600 °C. The nanoparticles are ferromagnetic and undergo a superparamagnetic transition between 50 and 75 K.
