Popis: | The present work contains kinetic data of the oxidation of sodium diethyldithiocarbamate in the presence of phthalocyanine catalysts. It is shown that the nature of the peripheral substituent has a great influence on the self- -association of phthalocyanines and on their catalytic activity. A mechanism of the oxidation of sodium diethyldithiocarbamate involving the formation of a triple complex of the substrate, the reduced form of the catalyst and oxygen is offered. It is also shown that the oxidation mechanism of dithiocarbamic acids is different from that for cysteine. |
