Discussion on generic placement of the species is presented in Bravo et al. (2006). This species can be identified based on the subgenital plate ending in two small lobes, leaving a semicircular ample space between them; genital digit 3.0-3.5X as long as width, and internally with a kidney-shaped genital sac (Iba��ez-Bernal 2008). P. cinerea shows a cosmopolitan distribution (Bravo et al. 2006; Iba��ez-Bernal 2008).
