Popis: | We present experimental and calculated spectra of pure enstatite single crystals, indicating that viewing geometry and optical anisotropy influences the shape and positions of the Christiansen feature and adjacent Reststrahlen bands in remotely obtained mid-infrared (MIR) data from planetary surfaces. |
