Popis: | Musculoskeletal misuse syndromes are secondary to misuse of specific tendons, ligaments, or other soft tissues. Despite patient education interventions to prevent acute musculoskeletal injury, these injuries still occur. A well-organized approach to musculoskeletal complaints can reduce the risk of missed diagnoses and ensure appropriate care. This article reviews history and physical examination findings indicative of a misuse etiology and provides clinicians with a discussion of available diagnostic tests and therapies. |
