Popis: | A correlational design was used to examine two process instruments designed to measure the quality of nursing care: the Quality Patient Care Scale (QualPacs) and the Methodology for Monitoring Quality of Nursing Care (Rush-Medicus). Pearson product-moment correlations indicated that the Physical and Psychosocial subscales of the instruments were unrelated; in a replication, the subscales were weakly correlated. The results indicate that these two process instruments measure different dimensions and underscore the idea that quality of nursing care is complex and multidimensional. |
