Popis: | Diagnostic workup of 49-year-old woman presented with large distended abdomen revealed a mesenchymal tumor of pelvic origin filling almost the whole abdominal cavity. Angiography confirmed that tumor goes from the uterus. Bilateral internal iliac artery embolization was performed preoperatively. Subsequently, the patient underwent successful surgical removal of the tumor which was found to be a 25-kg uterine leiomyoma. |
