| Popis: | Aim: This research is the students who attend a public university of the first class of the school of nursing satisfaction, critical thinking, and professional self-concept is intended to reveal the relationship between variables and to examine perceptions.Methods: The study was a cross-sectional study, with a sample of 265 students attending the first year of the Faculty of nursing. Research data was collected during the spring semester of the 2016-2017 academic year. The data in the research are the socio-demographic characteristics data form, Satisfaction Survey, California critical thinking trend scale, professional self concept scale. Descriptive statistics and pearson correlation analysis were used in statistical analysis of the data obtained from the study.Results: It was found that there was a significant relationship between the academic average of the students in the study and their will decisively coming to school and the concept of the professional self, and this result was predictive. Students' satisfaction, critical thinking professional self-perception levels were not found at the desired level.Conclusion: As a result of this study, it is recommended that nursing education be reconsidered and new regulations be made on critical thinking, problem solving and professional identity to the courses in the curriculum. In addition, it is proposed to increase social and cultural activities to increase students ' satisfaction with their university and school environment and the city in which they live. Amaç: Bu araştırma, bir kamu üniversitesine bağlı hemşirelik fakültesinin birinci sınıfına devam eden öğrencilerin memnuniyet, eleştirel düşünme ve profesyonel benlik kavramı algılarını incelemek ve değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymak için amaçlanmıştır.Yöntem: Çalışma, kesitsel bir araştırma olup, örneklemini hemşirelik fakültesi birinci sınıfa devam eden 265 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verileri 2016-2017 eğitim - öğretim yılı bahar döneminde toplanmıştır. Araştırmadaki veriler, sosyo demografik özellikler veri formu, Memnuniyet Anketi, California Eleştirel Düşünme Eğilim Ölçeği, Profesyonel Benlik Kavramı Ölçeği’dir. Çalışmadan elde edilmiş olan verilerin istatistiksel analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler ve pearson korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmadaki öğrencilerin akademik ortalaması ve okula isteyerek gelme durumları ile profesyonel benlik kavramı arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu ve bu sonucun yordayıcı olduğu görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin memnuniyet, eleştirel düşünme profesyonel benlik algı düzeyleri istenilen düzeyde bulunmamıştır. Sonuç: Bu çalışma sonucunda hemşirelik eğitiminin yeniden gözden geçirilerek öğretim programındaki derslere eleştirel düşünme, problem çözme ve profesyonel kimliğin oluşmasına yönelik yeni düzenlemelerin yapılması önerilir. Ayrıca, öğrencilerin üniversite ve okul ortamlarından ve yaşadıkları şehirden memnuniyetlerini artırmak için sosyal ve kültürel anlamda etkinliklerin artırılması önerilir. |
