Popis: Project management is a critical practice to achieve specific goals and success criteria in a given time and budget. It applies knowledge of skills, tools, and deliverables to ensure a solid path within the primary constraints - known as quality, scope, time, and cost (Harned, N.D.). Other crucial areas include human resources, communications, integration, procurement, risk management, and stakeholder management. The objective of project management is to shape and reform client's objectives, establishing them through the process of organizing resources. Managed resources include finances, technology, personnel, and intellectual property. If the objectives are too tightly prescribed, decision making can be detrimental. Besides engineering and construction, project management is lately associated with health care and information technology as these industries have a complex set of components in need to be assembled in a well-structured functional method. Project managers are given the duties of taking high-level corporate visions, delivering tangible results and ensuring sufficient resources to build, test, and deploy a product (Labarre, 2019). Often, Gantt charts and PERT charts will be used to illustrate workflow and determine which tasks belong to which department.
