Popis: A resonant-cavity detector incorporating only 5 quantum wells within the absorbing region has a peak sensitivity at $4.0\ \mu\mathrm{m}$ with a measured external quantum efficiency at room temperature of 34 % and dark current density comparable with state-of-the-art HgCdTe detectors.
