Popis: | This research study aims for understanding women influence on management performance and on governance efficiency. The literature review shed the light on theoretical perspectives that deal with the contractual and cognitive current to illustrate the added value of women into contemporary firms. Board diversity, gender diversity are the key terms that define women involvement into operational, monitoring and strategic dimensions. The research methodology was based on mixed research one. The qualitative approach revealed the perceptions of the interviewees and contributed for the elaboration of the research hypotheses and the questionnaire. A quantitative, as a complementary approach, has helped generalising the obtained results from a qualitative investigation. Accordingly, the conceptual model reflects five research hypotheses, and which were subsequently tested empirically following the dissemination of a questionnaire to 255 women CEO/board directors. Data collected was statistically processed using SPSS and AMOS software. Empirical results interpretation may have emphasised the importance and usefulness of leadership style, conflict resolution management, strategic direction and risk management, strategic reflection and professional experiences. |
