The research evaluates the knowledge and applicability of Integrative and Complementary Practices (CAM) in health in adult patients with heart disease. It organizes knowledge about the Concept and Classification of both Integrative and Complementary Practices and Heart Diseases. Objective synthesis of current evidence suffers the effectiveness of CAM in patients with heart disease. It demonstrates which alternative therapies are used in a complementary way in heart diseases, which strategies exist for their implementation in the context of Public Health Policies and their availability in the Unified Health System. |
