| Popis: | Genus Elamena H. Mine-Edwards, 1837 Type species by monotypy: Hymenosoma mathaei Desmarest, 1823. The genus Elamena, which,with24 species, is one of the most species-rich in the family Hymenosomatidae, can be separated into two groups (Lucas 1980). Elamena vesca is included in the group with a truncated rostrum and a polygonal carapace (Rahayu & Nugroho 2019).
