Popis: | Fluocinonide (fluocinolone acetonide acetate) 0.05 % in FAPG base2 is a new fluorinated topical corticosteroid incorporated into a specially formulated non-aqueous synthetic base for use in psoriasis, eczema and other inflammatory dermatoses. In double-blind paired comparisons with other fluorinated topical corticosteroid creams, fluocinonide in FAPG base has generally been at least as effective as normally used concentrations of fluocortolone, flumethasone pivalate and betamethasone 17-valerate in eczema and more effective than these topical corticosteroids in psoriasis except when used with occlusive dressings, when no difference could be found. |
