Popis: | Although review of medical literature suggests that skin disease is a common cause of morbidity in developing countries, there have been few prospective primary care studies to document the prevalence of dermatologic conditions. The goal of this study was to determine the prevalence of paediatric skin diseases in rural Honduras. The study was conducted in October 1992, during a medical mission sponsored by the University of Cincinnati, Children's Hospital Medical Center (Cincinnati) and the Honduran Ministry of Health. |
