Popis: | The synthesis of extended dicationic bis-benzimidazoles starting from trans‑1,2-bis(4-cyanophenyl)ethene and trans‑1,2-bis(4-cyanophenyl)cyclopropane is reported. The target diamidines show significant in vitro activity against B. subtilis. |
